Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. Ashley was admitted to ICU for one month. Parents were informed that her heart needed surgery Christmas Day. Christmas Day brought answers to the prayers of her parents when doctors advised her parents that she had an open heart. Ashley didn't need to undergo any procedures. After being released, she went home with a weight of 4 1/2 pounds after having been admitted to hospital for two months. Since then, she's healthy! Her father is an English-German. Her mother's Irish family is where they come from. The debut of her acting career was in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll advertisement. Ashley was then scouted at age 8 with the Ford Modeling Agency. Ashley has worked steadily for The Ford Modeling Agency for a number of years. When she was 10years old, Ashley made the decision to be an actor. Ashley acted in 35 commercials. Later, she moved into roles for the stage. Ashley discovered her love for acting. Ashley's attention shifted to acting. It was a little difficult to find time to dance or modeling. Ashley's last role in ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was "Hanna Marin". Ashley appeared in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo), and also in Solange's "True Love", music video. Britney Spears was photographed during a Vogue Magazine shoot. The singer is on the soundtrack video "That Girl" by NLT.
