Ashley was born two months earlier, weighing less than 3 pounds. The ICU was her home for one month. Parents were advised that her heart was going to need surgery on Christmas Day. Prayers were answered when her parents went in Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had closed. Ashley never needed any surgeries. The hospitalization she received lasted for two months and she only weighted 4 1/2lbs at the time she left. Since then, she's in good health! Her father has English as well as German ethnic heritage. Her mother's side is Irish. Her first appearance as an actor was an advertisement in 2002 for Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley was then contacted by the Ford Modeling Agency at the age of eight. Her work was steady in the printing industry and remains with the Agency. She aspired to be an actor at the tender age of 10. Ashley went on to do 35 commercials, and then onto stage roles. Ashley discovered her love for acting. Ashley focused her entire attention into acting, which left very little time for modeling or dancing. Ashley is well known for her character of Hannah Marin in ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was also a guest in Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) as well as Solange's music video for her song "True the Love". Ashley shot a picture with Britney Spears in Vogue Magazine. The NLT singer appears in their music video "That Girl".
