Ashley was born two months ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. In ICU the hospital, Ashley stayed for the whole month. She was informed by her parents on Christmas Day that she had to undergo heart surgery. Christmas Day brought answers to her prayers after doctors informed her parents that she had an open heart. Ashley did not require of any surgical procedures. In two months of hospitalization, she was only 4 1/2 lbs when she was released. Since her release, she's well-behaved! Her father is English-German. Her mother's family originates from Ireland. Her acting debut was made in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll advertisement. Ashley was then pursued at 8 years old by the Ford Modeling Agency. She was a steady performer in the print industry and is still with the Agency. As a young girl, she wanted to pursue acting. Ashley began her career with 35 commercials before moving on to roles in the theatre. Ashley was now devoted to acting. Ashley devoted all of her time for acting and no longer found time to do dancing or modeling. Ashley is best known for her character of Hannah Marin on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was also a guest on Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) as well as Solange's music video for the song "True Love". Britney Spears also appeared in the Vogue Magazine photoshoot. The singer is featured in the NLT's music video "That Girl".
