Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine has a unique style that combines R&B with gospel, soul music, and R&B. Avery Sunshine has performed on Broadway and in festivals throughout Europe. She has also performed at her appearance at the Democratic National Convention. The real name of Sunshine is Denise White. She is now a resident of Atlanta she was born in Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical experience began at the church where she sang and played piano. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical training began on Atlanta's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You a House 12, was only released in Japan. The song has been remixed many times, and it is a mainstay of her live show. Her voice was also featured on the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. She became the primary pianist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls production during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention through her performances on four consecutive days at the Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform at President Barack Obama's 2009 inauguration.
